mordialloc retail strip

Andrew Brophy at Urban Initiatives designed a suite of changes to the Mordialloc retail strip in 2013. Street plazas with distinctive planting, granite seating walls, new pavements and furniture capitalised on existing wider footpath areas.

The existing war memorial setting in the road median was redesigned to improve access and provide a more dignified paved and landscaped setting.

2B Designed upgraded the quality and performance of street lighting and added accent lighting to the main features of the streetscape: the Canary Island Palm avenue, the clock tower and memorial.
