parkdale memorial

The setting of the Parkdale memorial had seen better times and it suffered from an earlier addition of a monolithic bluestone wall that prevented access to and views from the adjacent coastal path.

Subtle improvements including new paving, planting and lighting and the addition of a flight of stairs to the lower coastal path have made the monument a more attractive feature of the Parkdale foreshore.
